Sweet Treats

I decorated this circular tin (a caribou cocoa tin) and filled it with my friend's favorite treats. Pink and Green are one of her favorite color combinations and one of her favorite treats are smarties. Using all Stampin' Up! products: DSP paper, old olive ribbon, pretties kit flower, clear button and rhinestone brad....viola'; an instant gift.
So save those tins and start stamping and decorating today!

Lunch Box Tin - Card Gift Set

I have wanted to make one of these for a long time. Finally! Stampin' Up! products: Paper-DSP, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy; Ribbons-Old Olive, Bashful Blue; Chipboard letter; Ink-Not Quite Navy. I used a flower punch and some paper flower emblishment that are not Stampin' Up! products.
The tin is from Joanne's (of course I used a coupon). This was so much fun and turned out so cute.
I filled with all sorts of cards and gave to a special someone. She loved it!
Here is the top of the tin.
I now have a list of people that I will be creating these gifts for.

Valentine Heart Box

What could be more yummy! Decorate a heart box and fill with chocolates for a special person.

I used two different kinds of boxes. The first is a paper mache heart shaped box decorated using Stampin' Up! products.

Paper-baroque burgandy, regal rose, and raspberry tart DSP paper; embelishments-rose red felt flower, prettie's kit flowers; dazzling diamonds glitter

This was my favorite because I can fill with my favorite chocolates.

The second box was a box of Russel chocolates. I like the paper mache boxes much better, since you really don't know what flavor of chocolates you will be giving

Here is a side view. When you purchase the paper mache boxes, try taking the lid off a couple of times. Some boxes have a tighter fit and you will want one that has a little looser fit because you will be adding a layer of paper to the box.

This last one was my favorite. All Stampin' Up! products: paper-regal rose, baroque burgandy, raspberry tart DSP paper; emblishments-rose red ribbon, miniture library clip, dazzling diamonds glitter.

These were fun to create and inexpensive!

Stamp some love today!

Silent Auction Box of Cards

Grab a 8x8 paper mache box and stamp. I decorated this box to hold 80 cards for a silent auction at my church. I made two of these by stamping, decorating with water color pencils and added sparkle using stickles. LOVE STICKLES!
These would make great gifts!

Decorating Tins

A few years ago a sweet person gave me some international coffee tins to be used for a project with kids...(thanks Sharon!). Well, I was organizing my basement and found them. I had brought them home to come up with a project and they were put into a box and forgotten.
So I started decorating last Friday (STAMP DAY!). Several have a winter theme and ready for some yummy chocolates. Some are just general to have ready for a quick chocolate or candy gift. Lots of fun and easy! I can't wait to share them.

Friday Stamping Day!

Friday was a stamping day with T-n-T! Check out these journals that Tonya made for her daughters, they turned out AWESOME!
The first page was made into a pocket page
The last page was made into a pocket also and then using the top note die cut, Tonya made a signature plate to write a note and sign.

Here is the second journal...
Rub ons, felt flowers and pearls from prettie's kit

...another pocket and signature plate.

These are great for girls (and women) of all ages! Create one today!

Happy Birthday Gift

T-n-T are so creative....I am lucky to have them as my friends and stamping buddies! Tricia designed (and demonstrated at a local demonstrator event) a modified clipboard and I got one for my birthday! Thanks Tricia! Tricia gave me the approval to post her wonderful creation:

Tricia used the Big Shot Top Note die to cut the corkboard and created push pins with felt flowers, build a brad and designer brads. So cute!

A mini library clip holds the calendar.

A flower from the pretties kit dyed with very vanilla ink and blushed with coordinating color.
The top of the clipboard has an area of coordinating paper and clips ready to hold pictures.

A post it pad and matching pen (coordinating paper inside the pen base) ready to take notes.
This would make a great gift or just a special project for yourself. Maybe I could convince Tricia into planning a class? Would you come?
Tricia also created this cute birthday card that has a unique closure.

The closure was created using the horizontal slot and word windo punches.

All products, accessories and tools mentioned are Stampin' Up supplies. Thanks Tricia!

Stampin' Up! Convetion 3D Gifts and Swaps

As I mentioned, I made gifts for T-n-T that they got to open every 300 miles on our way to convention in Utah. Here is a photo of the gifts. The box is a note card box and contained a set of my swaps; a "sour cream" container made with DSP paper; a modified journal; the yellow container is for sweet treats; the green square is a "5" gum container covered and decorated; and a milk carton pattern box. It was fun to make the gifts and a great way to create items to display for their customers.

Here are my swaps - Embrace Life, Winds of Grace, and Fresh Notes. I made a fourth swap but forgot to keep a sample for myself!
