100 Visitors!

Thanks for visiting my blog. The counter has reached 100; how exciting!

Fresh Cut Notecards

I pulled out my Stampin' Up! Fresh-Cut Notes and my Fresh-Cut Stamp set and started creating. I haven't used these notecards or stamp set for a while; funny how it snowed a little later in the day after creating some floral flair!

The last one above didn't download very well. The colors are real red and pretty in pink.

Stay warm by stamping and paper crafting this season!

Card Cluster

Have you ever been inspired by another stampers creation and sat down to make a card or two similar? After your done, you think "okay ready to move on" but you have all these good scraps.

Set a goal and make all sorts of cards until you have used all your scraps! These are my creations....

My initial inspiration came from a card I saw on Stamp Your Heart Out (a link to her blog is listed to the left). The placement of the ribbon and bow caught my eye.

The recipe for all cards using Stampin' Up! Products: Cardstock-Whisper White, Old Olive, Really Rust, Always Artichoke DSP paper; Punch- Scallop circle; 1" circle; Ribbon- Old Olive 5/8 grosgrain; Ink-Old Olive, Really Rust; Chalk-Really Rust. The stamp is from a retired Stampin' Up! set.

I then just started creating by changing the placement of paper and colors and layering. Not only did I make "regular" size cards, but I cranked out some 3x3 cards.

I had a lot of fun and use all my scraps except for just a partial piece of Whisper White and Old Olive and when you are done you have a great assortment for yourself or to give as a gift.

HAPPY STAMPING!

Time to Stamp???? Time to be Thankful!

Well my stamping plans did not happen as I thought. I promised to post stamping projects throughout the weekend; Sorry!

Time was spent at the hospital making sure my Dad would be okay. During his hunting weekend, my dad fell and broke his ankle and tibia. He is doing fine, however, will not be able to put weight on his foot for 3 months. YIKES!

So, I still have many projects to work on and will post them as soon as I can.

Make sure you check out the specials at my Stampin' Up! website...I will update this blog with the specials soon. Get ready for the holidays and make some memories. Hand made gifts are a fun to create and a thrill to receive!

Time to Stamp!

There is a time to dance and a time to celebrate and a TIME TO STAMP! I have been busy and not able to stamp and/or post. So be prepared for multiple posts because I am stamping this weekend. I have so many projects to work on and so little time before the holidays.

This is the card I created tonight using the Big Shot. The bird is from the Birds and Blooms Sizzlets. I keep pulling the sizzlet out and looking at it and wondering hmmmmm. I am always getting stuck for an idea with this birdie. Then I saw a card on a blog from my list to the left "My Favorite Things" by Dawn. This is my version of her creation. I love the bird and now have lots of ideas in my head to create.

Card Receipe - All Stampin' Up! supplies: paper - more mustard, whisper white, real red; DSP paper more mustard, real red, not quite navy; scallop square punch; not quite navy 1/4 grosgrain ribbon.

Happy Stamping!
